This Sunday Only – The Music of Windjammers’ Unlimited at the CAC
This Sunday, Windjammers’ Unlimited Circus Band, dedicated to preserving and performing traditional circus music, will join the Sailor Circus Academy for their annual collaboration. Windjammers’ nearly 100 musicians will recreate the nostalgia, fun, and excitement of the circus with traditional tunes, then 30 select musicians will add thrills to every act as CAC’s youth performers amaze the crowd on Cloudswing, Aerial Lyra, Unicycle, High Wire and more!Enjoy excellence in circus music and performance on Sunday, January 12 at 1:30 pm at the Sailor Circus Arena. NO TICKETS ARE REQUIRED; donations are welcome – arrive early to get your favorite seats!

Sailor Circus 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Show: What a Celebration!
The Sailor Circus Academy celebrated 75 years of life-changing youth circus with its holiday shows. The CAC’s most advanced youth performers marked the milestone with sparkling, spectacular performance featuring guest ringmasters and archival video from different eras in Sailor Circus history. From the innovative Aerial Chandelier act that opened the show to the stunning Flying Trapeze act at the end, the show paid tribute to SCA’s dazzling past.

The Circus Arts Conservatory proudly welcomed Sailor Circus alumni to the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee show at the end of December. Students and coaches from every era gathered before each show to reconnect, sharing stories of the work, the lessons, the adventures, and the performances that shaped them and the Sailor Circus. It was a special privilege to celebrate our history with an original Sailor Circus student performer, Shirley Meredith Wright, who graduated in 1954.The CAC and our Sailor Circus students were honored to share this performance with so many alumni. Thank you!
