Venice Theatre’s popular concert series is getting an early start this season on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, with a live show starring Resident Music Director Michelle Kasanofsky and Executive Director Kristofer Geddie. Part of Wellen Park’s Solis Hall Summer Series, “Songs of the Season” will feature fresh takes on songs from VT’s upcoming musicals “Nunsense,” “Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show,” “The Sound of Music,” “Honky Tonk Laundry,” “Annie,” and more. Showtime is 6:30 p.m. at Solis Hall, 19745 Wellen Park Blvd., Venice, FL 34293. All tickets are $25.
The live music continues in October and runs through May 2026 with a variety of returning favorites and new acts. One performance is sure to attract a younger crowd: The Swift Tribute Band. Covering all of Taylor Swift’s hits across her eras, this tribute show will give Swifties a fix of the pop star’s music just after her new album “The Life of a Showgirl” drops on Oct. 3. Anticipating families will attend with younger children, the theatre is offering a discounted youth price for the Oct. 13 show at the Venice Performing Arts Center, located at Venice High School, 1 Indian Ave. More information and tickets are available at VeniceTheatre.org/concerts.
Also new to Venice Theatre’s lineup are tributes to Stevie Wonder, Queen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Allman Brothers Band, Whitney Houston, The Doors, and Dolly Parton.
Four audience favorites are back by popular demand: Dwight Icenhower’s Tribute to Elvis, political humorists Capitol Fools, Sounds of Soul, and Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone.
Venice Theatre’s 2025–2026 Season will include 16 concerts in all, with two acts still to be announced. Ticket proceeds will help the theatre complete the final phase of rebuilding the Jervey Theatre after it sustained severe damage from Hurricane Ian. Next season’s concert series is expected to return to the Jervey Theatre.
Tickets for concerts and all shows through May 2026 are available at VeniceTheatre.org or by calling the box office at 941-488-1115. A detailed concert schedule follows.
